JOHN PERRY  (Laffin 2024)  44" tall, 6.5" bloom, 4 branches, 25 buds, Mid, Dor, Tet

                                            $85 DF

John Perry  is an excellent performer from a cross of Building The Colossus x Edward Abbey.  Its chest high scapes are strong with excellent branching.  Plentiful flowers provide a beautiful splash of purple over a long bloom period.  Excellent grower. Scapes never lean. Easily thrives through very cold winters and increases nicely. Fertile both ways.

It is a full sib to Brother Peter but is a bit taller, with more branches and larger blooms. The petals are maroon compared to Brother Peter's grape purple and it has a "calf's foot" watermark.

Named for John Perry, who was my favorite uncle - tall, strong and always doing what was needed of him.  A stalwart in life and now also a stalwart in the garden. He was also a master at damning with faint praise. Very dry sense of humor!  Miss you, John.
