SOLVEIG   (Laffin 2020)  50" tall, 8" bloom, 6-way branching, 30 buds, Dor, Midseason

                   $60 DF

SOLVEIG (pronounced "soul-vague") is a Scandinavian word meaning "bright sunshine".

SOLVEIG is a  large-flowered, rich buttery  gold.  Though beautiful in its own right as a flower, its claim to fame is its KILLER scapes! They are tall and strong, never leaning, even though it is 50" tall and has many large flowers at once.  Excellent branching, and flowers presented nicely.  A cross of an unregistered Olallie behemoth informally called Vt Ping, and Judy Davisson's amazing WIGGLY PIGGLY.  Very strong, totally impervious to harsh winters, it provides a nice bright tall splash of warm color.  Excellent with 2020's even taller IMHOTEP. Fertile both ways.
